Used to really like the store, however the quality and service have both been disappointing lately. The Tomkin mugs used to be amazing, lasted over 10 years without a mark, but the recently bought ones are having grey metal marks after a few weeks. The service now is also less friendly, seems that they don't care much about the retail customers anymore. After promising me that they will give me some discounts, but at checkout, they've turned around saying discount only applies to trade accounts or if I'm purchasing thousands of dollars of equipment. Apparently $500 of purchase does not worth their attention. Feel like I'm being fooled.

Best store in Melbourne for any kitchen tools, baking, cooking and cocktail making. Excellent selection of crockery and knife sets Quality products at all prices ranges. Great for business/ABN holders Service is great too.

As a small business operator, this is my go-to hospitality supply store. Not every item is the cheapest around but it’s always got everything I need and the staff are very helpful and willing to accomodate my product needs. Not to mention it’s a pleasant shopping experience and I always leave with more than I came in for. Not sure if that’s a good thing from my perspective but it says a lot about their user experience.

The review before mine says exactly what I was going to say. Mine is also a small business and I'm very impressed with the range Chefs Hat offers. It's a one stop hospo shop. I love going there but time constraints mean I mostly shop on the website. Last week Malinda at Chefs Hat was a great help when I called with a query. It's great that the person who answers the phone is the person who handles the query: no waiting on hold. Thankyou Chefs Hat!

Where the chefs shop literally. Chefs Hat have everything you want and can think of and even the stuff you never thought of until you’re in the place and you have a light bulb moment. Been coming here for well over 10 years from buying kitchen equipment to knives, plates and everything in between, super helpful and backed with knowledge of the products. Staff are super friendly and always asking if you’re after a hand with anything , it’s ran like a well oiled machine. Easy to shop and buy without feeling pressured like some other places. Even makes it better that it’s right across from my favourite Market, it’s a chefs/foodies dream! See you soon guys 👍
